Dear Friends,

As the High Holidays are upon us, we are proud to present our High Holidays Services 5777. High Holiday Services will be held at our beautiful facility, located at 544 S. Clair Ave. Our beautiful and heimish location will allow for praying in the utmost of comfort and will provide ample room for our simultaneous children’s program. Please find our registration form and schedule, by clicking here.

At Chabad of Midtown we have always welcomed every Jew with open arms, regardless of background, affiliation or financial means. Members and non-members, regulars and visitors alike sit side by side with no tickets and no names on the chairs. We believe that labels are for clothes not for people. This is a core value of our shul that we hope always to keep.

At CMT we strive to build a strong Jewish community and ensure the continuity of our people by offering our wide range of programs. We do so with compassion and open minds, accepting each Jew as he or she is, at any level of commitment or interest.

As Rosh Hashanah approaches, we are grateful for the continued growth we experience each year. Our programs have attracted many community members from all walks of life to discover the excitement of Judaism and the power of its traditions.

With thanks to Hashem, CMT now offers something for every age. Please visit our website for more details.

I take this opportunity to thank all of you who have joined the membership club this past year and helped ensure the financial stability of CMT. Your contributions have taken us to where we are today and I value your friendship and support.

While we will maintain Chabad’s policy that everyone is welcome to Chabad of Midtown regardless of payment, we recognize that membership also has advantages. Membership in a shul represents a commitment to the community. It means that you are involved in keeping Yiddishkeit alive and seeing it continue to the next generation. It also gives you a framework of giving and contributing to the shul, and it means that you are a partner in supporting the financial needs of the shul which we are all part of and which is thank G-d growing.

Wishing you a happy, healthy and sweet New Year.

Sincerely,

Rabbi Nechemia Deitsch
